CONGRATULATIONS TO the Bariatric Surgery team who received the 2008-2009 HealthGrades Bariatric Surgery Excellence Award (tm) as well as a 5 Star Rating.

GRAND ROUNDS: The first Department of Surgery Grand Rounds for the new academic year is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17th at 7:30am in Smilow 1st Floor Seminar Room. Dr. Leon Pachter, the George David Stewart Professor and Chairman of Surgery will speak on "Global Terrorism: Medical and Political Challenges of New Millennium ."
