GRAND ROUNDS: The Department of Surgery Grand Rounds is this Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 7:30am in Alumni Hall B. Dr. Thomas Maldonado will present on "The Future of Endovascular Repair of Abdominal and Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms." All surgical faculty and resident must attend.

MONTHLY MED-SURG CONFERENCE THIS THURSDAY -- The Medical-Surgical Conference will take place this Thursday Oct 30th at 5pm in the Farber Auditorium of the Bellevue Lobby. The topic is "Plavix and Aspirin: When to Operate and When NOT to Operate". Refreshments begin at 4:30pm.

DEPARTMENT HOLIDAY PARTY: Due to unforeseen conflict and also recruitment day, the Department's 2008 Holiday party will now be held on Monday, December 22nd, 6:30- 10 pm at the Twenty Four Fifth, 5th avenue between 9th and 10th streets.
