GRAND ROUNDS: The next Surgery Grand Rounds lecture will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 7:30 AM in Smilow 1st Floor Seminar Room. Dr. Patricia O'Neill, Co-Director of Trauma Surgery and Critical Care at Kings County Hospital Center will speak on "Blast Injuries: Are you prepared?" All surgical faculty and residents are strongly encouraged to attend.
RRC VISIT: Thank you to all faculty and residents who participated in the Residency Review Commission's site review last week. Preliminary feedback from the site visitor was good; we will get a full report after the RRC reviews our report at its summer's meeting. Special thanks to Dr. Russell Berman, Dr. Glyn Morgan, Sophia Pierre-Louis and the entire Surgery Admin staff for their hard work in preparing the Department for the visit.
