Surgery Residents and Medical Students

Two general surgery residents, one fourth-year and one second-year, aid in day-to-day patient care and assist with most surgeries.

In addition, one to two NYU medical students, and often visiting medical students from other institutions, fulfill a pediatric surgery rotation as part of their core surgery clerkship.
