The National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction Supports the Programs of the Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

The Institute wishes to acknowledge the financial assistance of theNational Foundation for Facial Reconstruction (NFFR), without whosecontinued aid the Institute could not continue its activities.

Founded in 1951, the National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction is theInstitute's principal sponsor. The NFFR's mission is to enable peoplewith facial disfigurement to lead productive, fulfilling lives throughits comprehensive treatment, including the social and psychologicalneeds of those affected.

The NFFR has sponsored patient care, medicalresearch, professional training and promoted education to increasethe public's understanding of the special circumstances of peoplewith facial disfigurement.
