The NYULMC Mary Lea Johnson Richards Organ Transplantation Center, established in New York City in 1989, offers comprehensive liver and kidney transplant services. We are a Medicare-designated Liver and Kidney transplant center offering living donor liver and kidney transplants.

With a track record of over 1400 transplants since the program’s inception, NYULMC’s transplant program, we have an established reputation for excellence in patient care, education and research.

NYULMC’s transplant surgeons treat the second highest number of primary liver cancer patients in the United States and are innovators in living-donor liver and kidney transplantation, performing live donor laparoscopic kidney removals and live donor liver transplants.
